Welcome to Mindfully Nursed.
Hi, I'm Tara- a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, parent, and perpetual coffee reheater.

I support people through all kinds of tough seasons: new parenthood, caregiving, health anxiety, burnout and exhaustion, and the quiet chaos of just trying to hold it together.

My style is relational, flexible, and practical. We work together at your pace, with full respect for your nervous system, your lived experience, and your story.

Is This You?
You might be:
-
A new parent wondering if what you're feeling is normal
-
Deep in postpartum or navigating the fog of sleepless nights and emotional mood swings
-
A parent in the thick of it- stretched thin and barely hanging on
-
Carrying the invisible weight of caregiving, work, or both and wondering where you went
-
Struck in a loop of overthinking, self-doubt, or stress that won't quit
-
A first responder or nurse who can't just "shake it off"
-
Trying to manage infant feeding, FPIES, or allergy worries while also keeping everyone alive

If any of that resonates, you're not alone, and you don't need to carry it alone either.

How I Can Help
Therapy that centres you as a full human being.
Rooted in clinical knowledge and nursing experience
Grounded, curious, collaborative conversations
Room for reflection, relief, and (sometimes) swearing
What Is Nurse Psychotherapy?
As a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I offer something a little different.

Nurses are trained to see the whole person-
your body, your mind, your story, your environment- and that is how I approach therapy. Our work together blends medical understanding with emotional care, clinical skill and compassion.

This isn't cookie-cutter therapy. It's grounded, practical, and deeply human.
